West Bromwich Albion defender Donervon Daniels has announced his decision to return to the Premier League side following a loan spell with Gillingham.
The defender has just completed a one-month loan from the Baggies. He featured just three times for the League One outfit in that period, and was an unused substitute in their last five games.
Gills manager Peter Taylor was keen to keep the 20-year-old for longer, despite preferring Leon Legge and Adam Barrett at the back.
But Daniels tweeted on his personal page: "Great performance from the boys last night to get the result that mattered for the club. Back to Birmingham now.
"Would like to thank everyone involved with Gillingham for my time at the club, the lads, the coaching staff and the amazing fans for the welcoming me.
"Wish the club all the luck in the future. God Bless!"
Daniels' last game for the Gills came in the 3-1 defeat at Notts County.
