Former Newcastle United loanee Seydou Doumbia has joined La Liga side Girona on a three-year deal.
The 30-year-old, capped 36 times for Ivory Coast, joined the Magpies on loan from Roma in February 2016 and made three appearances.
Doumbia had better luck the following season with a fruitful spell at eventual Swiss champions Basel before enduring another barren loan tenure at Sporting Lisbon in 2017-18.
"The presentation of the player to the media will take place at 1.30pm (12.30pm BST) tomorrow morning at the press room of the Estadi Montilivi," the club posted on their website on Tuesday.
Doumbia, who joins on a free transfer having been released by the Giallorossi in the summer, was also part of the Ivory Coast side that won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
