Carlo Ancelotti has entered talks over becoming manager of Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande, according to reports.
The Italian was dismissed by Bayern Munich in September following a 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Current Evergrande boss Luis Felipe Scolari, meanwhile, is out of contract of the end of the season and is expected to leave the club.
According to The Mirror, citing Chinese media, Ancelotti is poised to snub interest from Europe to pen a deal with the CSL champions.
Other Italians who have been plying their trade in China include Marcello Lippi, who manages the national side, and Fabio Cannavaro, the previous coach at Guangzhou.
