Coupe de France holders Guingamp have booked their place in the last 16 of this year's tournament by beating Chateauroux 2-0 this evening.

The hosts were struggling to find a way past their Ligue 2 opponents until half-time substitute Claudio Beauvue slotted in just after the hour mark.

Their progress to the next round was finally sealed deep into stoppage time when Thibault Giresse scored from the penalty spot.

Guingamp will be looking to win their third Coupe de France title and defend the trophy that they won last season by beating Rennes in the final.
