The game's first real chance did not fall until the 20th minute, but Guingamp made the most of it as Mandanne was on hand to bundle home into the bottom-left corner of the Lens goal.
The home side almost extended their lead in the 30th minute as Thibault Giresse made good progress down the wing before crossing for Mustapha Diallo, who saw his headed attempt crash back off the post.
Lens might have grabbed a first-half leveller, only for Ahmed Kantari to head straight at the keeper from Pierrick Valdivia's cross, before Adamo Coulibaly was also wasteful after half time as he headed over from close range.
Guingamp were presented with the chance to double their lead midway through the second half when Boubacar Sylla brought down Dorian Leveque in the box. Beauvue stepped up and sealed all three points from the spot.
