Hannover have reportedly confirmed that Cardiff City have made an official approach for striker Mame Diouf.
The Premier League outfit secured the capture of Magnus Wolff Eikrem from Heerenveen yesterday, and it appears that they are continuing their hunt for fresh faces.
According to BBC Sport, new Bluebirds manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has fronted an official approach for Diouf, who played under the former Manchester United star at Molde.
However, Hannover head coach Tayfun Korkut has stated that Diouf is unlikely to leave the club.
