Robbie Neilson has praised the way that Hearts saw out their 2-1 Scottish Premiership victory over Ross County on Saturday.
Hearts scored two goals within 14 minutes before Liam Boyce pulled a goal back from the penalty spot. Ross County had the better chances in the second half but the Jambos held on to the victory.
"I thought at 2-0 we were really in command," Neilson told BBC Sport. "We looked to go and score more, then we got the penalty decision against us and it totally changed the dynamic of the game.
"We ended up having to camp in and hit on the counter, but we can do that as well. I'm confident in the defenders and midfield we've got that we can do that for 90 minutes.
"You don't always have to win it by playing wonderful football; at times you have to win it by managing it properly."
The victory maintains Hearts' 100% record this season.
