Hearts put five past Livingston

Hearts continue their unbeaten start to the Scottish Championship season with a 5-0 win over Livingston.

Hearts continued their unbeaten start to the Scottish Championship season with a 5-0 win over Livingston on Sunday afternoon.

It was the home side that made the faster start to proceedings and they led inside 14 minutes through Moroccan forward Soufian El Hassnaoui.

Hearts continued to play the better football in the latter stages of the half and made it 2-0 on the 30-minute mark through Jamie Walker, before Osman Sow made it 3-0 minutes before the interval.

The home side continued to dominate in the second period, but had to wait until the latter stages to add their fourth and fifth, with James Keatings striking before Sow grabbed his second from close range.

The result has left Hearts six points clear of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Championship, while Livingston remain sixth having taken seven points from their seven games this season.
