Norwich City forward Steven Naismith has rejoined Hearts on loan.
Having spent the second half of last term at Tynecastle, the Scotland international will return to the Edinburgh outfit for the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign.
The 31-year-old is already training with his Jambos teammates and will be eligible for this weekend's friendly against Partick Thistle if international clearance is granted.
"It was an easy decision, really. It was more about when we were getting it done, rather than if, which is pleasing," Naismith told Hearts' official website.
"It feels great to be a Hearts player once again. I'm glad it all got sorted sooner rather than later. The uncertainty over the summer isn't enjoyable as a footballer.
"All round, all parties did what they could to get it done as quickly as possible and I'm delighted to start work."
Naismith scored four times in 14 appearances for Hearts last season.
