German club Hoffenheim have sacked Marco Kurz as their coach and replaced him with Markus Gisdol.
The decision comes following the side's 3-0 away defeat to Schalke in the Bundesliga on Saturday that left them second from bottom with 20 points from 27 matches.
"TSG Hoffenheim will be coached by Markus Gisdol in the future," reads a statement from the club.
"The 43-year-old will take over TSG as of now and is charged with the rebuilding of the squad beyond the current season by the club."
Gisdol is Hoffenheim's fourth coach of the season after Markus Babbel, Frank Kramer and Kurz.
Hoffenheim also sacked sporting director Andreas Muller and assistant coach Gunther Gorenzel along with Kurz.
