Preview: Huddersfield Town vs. Blackpool

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Boxing Day meeting between Huddersfield Town and Blackpool.

Huddersfield Town will have Anthony Gerrard available for selection when Blackpool visit on Boxing Day.

The defender was sent off against Crystal Palace on Saturday but the Terriers have appealed the decision, meaning that Gerrard can play because the challenge will not be heard until Thursday.

One player that is banned though is Alan Lee, who has been hit with a three-game suspension for violent conduct. Jermaine Beckford should start in his place, while Sean Scannell is also in contention for a role from the beginning.

Meanwhile, visiting Blackpool could be without defensive duo Craig Cathcart and Neal Ardley because of illness.

Hosting Huddersfield are currently on the worst run of form of any team in the Championship, having not won in their last seven outings.

Sports Mole says: 1-2
