Blackburn Rovers have reportedly had a bid rejected by Huddersfield Town for Jordan Rhodes.
Steve Kean's side were linked with a bid for the striker earlier this week but Sky Sports News reports that Huddersfield have dismissed an approach for the 22-year-old.
The bid from Rovers is believed to be worth around £2m but the Terriers are intent on keeping one of their key players as they prepare to begin a new season in the Championship after the promotion last year.
Huddersfield refused to comment on the striker's future on Tuesday morning but a number of clubs are still expected to make a move for the former Ipswich Town forward.
Rhodes scored 36 goals in League One last season.
