Hull City manager Steve Bruce has expressed his delight at his side's performance in their 2-1 win over struggling Bristol City today.
Goals from Sone Aluko and a Cole Skuse own goal cancelled out Steve Davies's strike to hand Hull all three points.
Bruce's only complaint was that his side didn't win more comfortably, but the former Sunderland boss was ecstatic at the overall performance.
"The better team won, no doubt about that, but if I have to be critical the chances we missed have been typical of us," said Bruce.
"In a few games this year we should have been out of sight, but overall I have to be very pleased indeed with the way we performed. We are playing the way I want to at the moment. We like to pass the ball around and have some very good footballers.
"Occasionally we come unstuck against the more physical teams, but today we did well against a big Bristol City unit. Some of our football was excellent and to come away from home and create the chances we did was very satisfying."
The result lifts Hull into sixth in the Championship table, while Bristol City are languishing down in 23rd.
