Hull City manager Steve Bruce has compared new signing Yannick Sagbo to Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
Sagbo completed his move to Hull earlier this afternoon subject to a medical, joining the Premier League newcomers from Ligue 1 side Evian TG.
The Ivory Coast international is not known as a prolific goalscorer, but Bruce believes that his physical attributes will allow him to have a similar impact in the Premier League as Benteke did last season.
"He is something different to what we have got. He is big, strong and powerful and he likes to run in behind a little bit, which we haven't had a lot of," Bruce told TalkSport.
"You look at Benteke before he went to Aston Villa, he didn't have a prolific goalscoring record but he had all the attributes to play in the Premier league.
"He is big, strong, powerful and quick, and our boy is a little bit like that too."
Benteke has scored 23 times in 39 appearances for Villa, while Sagbo only managed 22 goals in 90 games for Evian.
