Michael Dawson has claimed that confidence is high in the Hull City squad following Tuesday's crucial 1-0 victory over Liverpool.
Steve Bruce's side have picked up successive wins to boost their survival bid ahead of another tough challenge against Arsenal in their next game, and Dawson believes that they can continue to gain momentum in the closing stages of the season.
"The result is massive. Before Saturday people were writing us off, but the belief, commitment and quality we've shown in these last two games stands us in good stead," the defender, who scored the winner at the KC Stadium, told the club's website.
"Whoever scores it doesn't matter, we just need three points. Back-to-back wins in the Premier League are hard to come by, but we've done it and we're delighted.
"Confidence is high and I think you've seen that tonight. We said before the game we probably need two more wins - well that's one. We've started with a big win tonight but we need more. Commitment is the secret to winning against the big teams. We've set a benchmark and Arsenal won't fancy coming here now."
Hull are four points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining in their campaign.
