Hull City goalkeeper Steve Harper has admitted that he has made no plans to retire from football in the foreseeable future.
The veteran stopper, who is expected to retain his place in Steve Bruce's starting XI when the Tigers visit Arsenal on Saturday, says that he is yet to make a decision over his playing future beyond the end of this season.
The 39-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail: "I came back in July for pre-season and the manager spoke to me on day one. He told me to get all thoughts of retirement out of my head.
"When you get to this age you have to enjoy it. It's a good dressing room with a good staff and although the players might call me Grandad now and again, it's a good place to be."
Hull are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table.
