David Meyler has claimed that he and his Hull City teammates are "ready to die for the cause" of preserving the club's Premier League status.
Steve Bruce's side sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference after winning just two league games all season.
The Tigers head into this afternoon's clash with West Bromwich Albion on a seven-game winless streak, but Meyler says that Hull will 'roll their sleeves up' and accept the challenge of staying in the top flight.
"We've had to wait, but we've had our chances now and we want to stay there. We've got to give it everything we've got and die for the cause," he told The Mirror.
"You listen to the manager over the years and he's stressed rolling our sleeves up and giving everything we've got."
City's last victory came in early October - a 2-0 home win over Crystal Palace.
