Hull City have reportedly made an offer to sign Aston Villa defender Tommy Elphick on loan for the remainder of the season.
Elphick has struggled for football at Villa in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign, with Mile Jedinak selected ahead of him, which has caused controversy with the club's supporters.
Queens Park Rangers were recently linked with an approach for the centre-back, but according to Sky Sports News, Hull are also in the hunt and have made a loan offer for the 30-year-old.
Elphick has only made 31 appearances for Villa since joining the club from Bournemouth in 2016.
The experienced defender spent the second half of last season on loan at fellow Championship club Reading.
