Odubajo, 22, who was described as a "big loss" by Brentford head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen, hasn't been registered in time to play for Hull in their season-opener against Huddersfield Town tomorrow.
"Unfortunately it didn't happen in time for me to play on Saturday, but I'm looking forward to playing for this club and I'm ready whenever the manager wants to select me," Odubajo told the Tigers' website.
Odubajo leaves Brentford after just one season in which he made 49 appearances and scored three goals as the Bees reached the Championship playoffs in their first season back in the second tier for 21 years.
