Report: Hull City target Chicago Fire forward Shaun Maloney

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is targeting Chicago Fire forward Shaun Maloney as he looks to add experience to his squad, according to reports.

Hull City have tabled a bid for Chicago Fire forward Shaun Maloney, according to reports.

The Hull Daily Mail suggests that Tigers manager Steve Bruce is looking to add experience to his young squad, and has made Scotland international Maloney one of his main targets.

Yesterday Bruce completed the signing of Arsenal attacker Chuba Akpom on loan, but striker Dame N'Doye looks set to depart, meaning that a forward remains a priority.

Schemer Maloney, an FA Cup winner with Wigan Athletic in 2013, joined Chicago Fire in January, and has scored three goals in his 12 appearances to date.
