Inter Miami are reportedly expected to complete the loan signing of Celta Vigo attacker Tadeo Allende.
The MLS side are preparing for a new era after a largely successful 2024 campaign ended in playoff disappointment.
Inter Miami won their first-ever Supporters' Shield with a record points total, with Lionel Messi earning the MLS MVP award for his impressive performances during the season.
However, they were unable to make a significant impression in the postseason, suffering a 2-1 series defeat in their round-one tie against Atlanta United.
Tata Martino subsequently left his position as head coach due to personal reasons, before Javier Mascherano was named as his successor on a deal through to the 2027 campaign.

Allende closing in on Inter Miami move
Mascherano will be tasked with leading a star-studded squad to the MLS Cup for the first time in the club's history.
The Argentine can already call upon four of his former Barcelona teammates in Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
However, he will be keen to add further quality to his squad, especially after Leonardo Campana was traded to the New England Revolution.
Campana's departure has left Inter Miami looking for potential signings to strengthen their attacking options.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Inter Miami are close to signing Allende on a loan deal from Spanish side Celta Vigo.
The Herons appear well set to secure Allende's services despite AS reporting that he is also attracting interest from Granada and Real Zaragoza in Spain's second tier.

Who is Tadeo Allende?
The 25-year-old winger began his career with Instituto, before he joined fellow Argentinian side Godoy Cruz on a permanent transfer in June 2022 following a short loan spell.
Allende made 80 competitive appearances for Godoy Cruz, registering 15 goals and seven assists to earn a move to Celta in January.
The attacker featured in 10 La Liga matches in the second half of last season, but he has found playing time hard to come by in the current campaign.
In fact, Allende has been restricted to just one brief substitute appearance in La Liga this season, although he has scored a couple of goals in Celta's two Copa del Rey matches.
Allende, who is under contract until June 2028, will hope that a potential loan move to Inter Miami will give him the opportunity to experience regular playing time.
