After their big win earlier this week, Empoli return to action on Saturday, when they host mid-table rivals Torino at Stadio Carlo Castellani.
The Tuscans shocked Inter at San Siro on Monday night and now tackle a team sitting just one point and one place above them in the Serie A standings.
We say: Empoli 1-1 Torino
Torino have travelled well enough this season, but now come face to face with opposition enjoying their best form of the season. Neither team is particularly prolific, yet current trends suggest they can both score at least once in a tightly-contested encounter.

Cremonese vs. Inter Milan (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Having seen hopes of regaining the Scudetto fade further with defeat last time out, Inter Milan visit winless Cremonese on Saturday, at Stadio Giovanni Zini.
Humbled at home to Empoli on Monday, Inter suffered a heavy landing on their return from Saudi Arabia as Supercoppa Italiana champions, while their hapless hosts once more failed to record a first Serie A victory since promotion.
We say: Cremonese 0-3 Inter Milan
With bouncing back from their slip-up at San Siro foremost on their mind, Inter can make another fast start and take a stranglehold on a game it would be simply unacceptable to lose.
The Nerazzurri have scored the most goals of any Serie A side during the first half-hour (13), while Cremonese have conceded the most (also 13), so the contest could be all but over early on.

Atalanta vs. Sampdoria (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Aiming to extend their impressive start to 2023, Atalanta BC welcome Serie A strugglers Sampdoria to the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday evening.
While the Bergamaschi shared six goals with Juventus in a thrilling contest last weekend, Samp slumped to their fourth straight loss in all competitions.
We say: Atalanta BC 2-1 Sampdoria
Having apparently reverted to the Atalanta of old, the hosts should have few difficulties in picking their way through Samp's porous defence, but could also get caught on the counter themselves. Though not always as comfortable at home as on the road, La Dea's hot streak will continue with another win.
