Luis Figo has said that Wesley Sneijder's future with Inter Milan is a decision for Andrea Stramaccioni.
The Dutch midfielder is refusing to take a pay cut and has been frozen out at the San Siro, with a January transfer looking likely.
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be among those clubs chasing Sneijder's signature and Figo - representing Inter at today's Europa League draw - said that it is a difficult situation for both parties.
"Seeing a situation like this is difficult for the team and for the player," Figo told reporters.
"Hopefully it will be resolved in the best way possible and then in February he can help the team move forward. But all that depends on the choice made by the coach."
Sneijder joined Inter from Real Madrid in 2009.
