Ipswich Town and Leicester City failed to find the net during an unspectacular 45 minutes of football at Portman Road.
The Foxes were the first to carve out a goalscoring opportunity, with Ben Marshall testing Ipswich keeper Stephen Henderson with a right-footed drive in the third minute.
It was an uneventful 45 minutes, but Nigel Pearson's side came close again in the 27th minute when Harry Kane let fly with his right foot, missing to the right of goal.
Ipswich came closest through Michael Chopra seven minutes before the break, the striker forcing an impressive save out of Danish keeper Kasper Schmeichel with a right-footed drive.
Leicester will remain in fifth place on 58 points if the today's scorelines remain the same, and Ipswich will stay in 20th on 40.
