Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has dismissed suggestions that his side could make a late surge for promotion following their 3-0 win over Cardiff City on Saturday.
The victory was the Tractors' fourth in a row, their best run in almost eight years, and moved them up to 16th in the Championship, having previously been embroiled in the relegation dogfight.
Jewell, however, is not getting ahead of himself and is keen to take one game at a time.
"I knew I was going to be asked about the play-offs," Jewell joked.
"We've been in a relegation fight for a long time and we're just trying to put as much daylight as possible between ourselves and the bottom of the league, taking every game on its merits.
"The only thing on our minds at the moment is trying to get a result at Brighton [next Saturday]."
The result puts Ipswich 12 points clear of the relegation zone and 11 points away from the play-off spots.
