Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has said that he is hopeful about his side's chances of claiming a place in the Championship playoffs this season.
The Tractor Boys moved to within one point of sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship table after sharing a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth this afternoon.
"We have two games left and we will see what happens," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "This time last year we were not safe from relegation so I'm a damn sight happier at the top of the table.
"This league is bonkers. Everyone desperately wants to go up and that's why it's hard to grasp a playoff place."
Ipswich Town have not played in the Premier League since being relegated in 2002.
