Sports Mole looks at how Ipswich Town could line up for Saturday afternoon's Premier League match with Newcastle United at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town are set to be without the services of leading goalscorer Liam Delap for the visit of Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The youngster has enjoyed a six-goal start to his maiden term in the top flight of English football but is suspended for this weekend's clash after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign last weekend.

As a result, Tractor Boys boss Kieran McKenna will need to find a new solution at the focal point of his side's attack, a task made even harder by the absence of George Hirst because of a knee issue.

Down to the bare bones of their striking ranks, Ipswich could turn to Ali Al Hamadi from the start, with the Iraq international on the books of League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon this time last year.

Netting a late winner at Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, Jack Taylor will be pushing for a rare league start, although Sam Morsy and Jens-Lys Cajuste are set to retain their spots in the engine room.

The Tractor Boys' options on the right side of the pitch are still severely restricted due to the absences of Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles) and Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring).

Consequently, right-back Harry Clarke and winger Wes Burns are set to keep their starting berths as relegation-threatened Ipswich hunt down back-to-back Premier League victories.

Ipswich Town possible starting lineup: Muric; Clarke, O'Shea, Burgess, Davis; Morsy, Cajuste, Burns, Chaplin, Hutchinson; Al Hamadi
