Ipswich Town have secured a late draw at home to FC Utrecht in their final pre-season contest.
The Tractor Boys started strongly as a neat move eventually saw Ainsley Maitland-Niles force the keeper into a low save.
However, the Dutch side took the lead shortly after as Sean Klaiber set up Sebastian Haller to find the top corner from close range.
Ipswich went close to equalising twice in the first half as both Teddy Bishop and Freddie Sears forced low saves from the goalkeeper.
Chances were few and far between after the break, with Town having to wait until the 71st minute to threaten, as Kevin Bru fired marginally over the bar from the edge of the box after a sweeping move.
Bru went close again with a free kick, before McGoldrick drilled in a penalty after being fouled in the box.
