Team News: Four changes for Ipswich Town against Brentford

Ipswich Town make four changes to their starting XI as they take on Brentford in the Championship, with Daryl Murphy and Freddie Sears returning together up top.

Ipswich Town have made four changes to their starting XI as they welcome playoff rivals Brentford in the Championship.

Dean Gerken, Daryl Murphy, Freddie Sears and Richard Chaplow all come into the side for the match at Portman Road.

Sears and Murphy will start together up top, with support coming a little deeper from Chaplow in midfield, while Gerken returns in goal for Mick McCarthy's team.

Brentford have been boosted by the return of key midfielder Alan Judge, but Lewis Macleod fails to make the starting XI following hamstring trouble.

The visitors have also decided to leave out loan signing Chris Long despite two debut goals recently, with Andre Gray starting in attack as a lone striker.

Ipswich Town: Gerken, Parr, Mings, Chambers, Smith, Berra, Skuse, Murphy, Chaplow, Tabb, Sears

Brentford: Button; Bidwell, Douglas, Odubajo, Dallas, Judge, Gray, Diagouraga, Pritchard, Moore, Tarkowski
