Team News: Ipswich Town unchanged for visit of Middlesbrough

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy names an unchanged side for the visit of high-flying Middlesbrough to Portman Road in the Championship.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged side for tonight's visit of high-flying Middlesbrough to Portman Road in the Championship.

After last weekend's 3-0 victory over Charlton Athletic, which extended the Tractor Boys' unbeaten run to six matches since October 21, McCarthy has kept faith with the same XI against second-placed Boro.

That means that Brett Pitman and in-form Darryl Murphy start in attack once again, with David McGoldrick only handed a place on the bench despite returning to fitness.

For Boro, there are four changes as Dimitrios Konstantopoulos returns in goal after being rested for the 2-0 League Cup quarter-final defeat to Everton in midweek.

George Friend comes in at left-back, and Albert Adomah and top scorer Christian Stuani return to the XI in support of David Nugent up front, who is preferred to Kike.

Ipswich Town: Gerken; Chambers, Smith, Berra, Knudsen; Skuse, Maitland-Niles, Douglas; Sears, Murphy, Pitman
Subs: Bialkowski, Malarczyk, Parr, Tabb, Coke, McDonnell, McGoldrick,

Middlesbrough: Konstantopoulos; Nsue, Ayala, Gibson, Friend; Leadbitter, Clayton; Stuani, Downing, Adomah; Nugent
Subs: Mejias, Amorebieta, Kike, Kalas, Fabbrini, Forshaw, Zuculini
