Ipswich Town have announced the arrival of former West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison on a short-term deal.
The 25-year-old trained with both Ipswich and Birmingham City after he was released by the Hammers at the end of last season.
A statement on the Tractor Boys' official website confirmed that Collison has put pen to paper on a contract until later December after impressing manager Mick McCarthy.
The midfielder, who played 15 times for West Ham in the 2013-14 campaign, had loan stints at Bournemouth and Wigan Athletic.
