Ipswich Town striker Jack Marriott makes Luton Town switch

Young striker Jack Marriott seals a move from Ipswich Town to Luton Town on a one-year contract.

League Two side Luton Town have completed the signing of Jack Marriott from Ipswich Town.

The 20-year-old, who made just three senior appearances for the Tractor Boys, had loan spells with Carlisle United, Woking and Colchester United last term.

Having not had his contract at Portman Road renewed, the striker has now penned a one-year deal at Kenilworth Road.

"I've had two good seasons out on loan and learned a lot but now I'm ready to settle at a club where I've got a good chance to contribute to the team," he told the club's official website.

Marriott made his senior debut for Ipswich against Burnley in 2013.
