Kevin Bru leaves Ipswich Town after four seasons

Ipswich Town midfielder Kevin Bru parts company with the club ahead of the season's conclusion.

Kevin Bru has parted company with Ipswich Town.

The midfielder, who has been on the books at Portman Road for four years, has left the club on a free transfer after spending the entirety of the season on the transfer list.

The 29-year-old, who is a full international for Mauritius, made more than 100 appearances for Ipswich since signing for them on a free transfer in 2014.

Bru made 62 starts for the managerless Tractor Boys - with the remainder of his appearances coming via the substitutes' bench - and scored four goals.

Meanwhile, Ipswich have announced that they have triggered a 12-month extension clause in Teddy Bishop's contract.
