Leroy Lita scored the only goal of the game during his trial outing for Ipswich Town last night.
The 29-year-old, who was recently released by Premier League side Swansea City, started for the Tractor Boys away at Braintree Town.
He found the net in the 36th minute from close range and was then withdrawn at the break as manager Mick McCarthy watched on.
The East Anglian Daily Times reports that Lita was one of six triallists on display for Ipswich, including French centre-forward Achille Campion and Mauritian midfielder Kevin Bru.
