Report: Richard Chaplow training with Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy offers Millwall winger Richard Chaplow the chance to train with the Tractor Boys.

Millwall winger Richard Chaplow will reportedly spend the next week training with fellow Championship side Ipswich Town.

The 30-year-old is thought to have been informed by the Lions that his contract at The Den, which is due to expire in the summer, will not be extended.

While it is not known if Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is looking to sign the former England Under-21 international on a loan deal, he has handed him the chance to make an impression over the coming days, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.

As well as Millwall, Chaplow has also turned out for Burnley, West Bromwich Albion, Preston North End and Southampton during his career.
