Connor Sammon's season-long loan stint at Ipswich Town could reportedly be about to end early.
The 28-year-old has made just eight starts this season following his switch from Derby County.
As a result, his time at Portman Road will be cut short, with a move to Huddersfield Town in the offing, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.
The Republic of Ireland international has scored only one goal for Mick McCarthy's side.
The report adds that while McCarthy has no immediate replacement for Sammon in mind, he would like to bolster his strikeforce before the end of the transfer window.
