Sunday's Turkish Super Lig fixtures kick off at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu with Istanbul Basaksehir playing host to Alanyaspor.
The hosts got their 2024-25 league season started with a 1-1 draw away to Rizespor, while the visitors played to the same scoreline at home against Eyupspor.
We say: Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 Alanyaspor
Both these sides produced fairly underwhelming performances over the opening weekend, but the game time would certainly have helped them shake off any rustiness.
The hosts may have been a little guilty of prioritising the European competition last week, but they will know the importance of keeping up with the leading pack, and we expect them to notch up their first win of the league season in this one.

Meanwhile, the visitors are seeking their first points of the season after a home defeat against Besiktas in their opening match.
We say: Gaziantep 1-1 Samsunspor
Samsunspor were all bark and no bite in their last match, creating good scoring opportunities but ultimately failing to convert – meanwhile, Gaziantep scraped a victory in their league opener, demonstrating their resilience.

Besiktas vs. Antalyaspor (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Besiktas will look to continue their positive start to the 2024-25 Turkish Super Lig season when they take on Antalyaspor at Tupras Stadyumu on Sunday evening.
The hosts won their opening match of the season 2-0 away to Samsunspor, while the visitors played out a goalless draw at home against newly promoted Goztepe.
We say: Besiktas 3-1 Antalyaspor
Besiktas have had a very good transfer window and have assembled a squad that seem capable of challenging Fenerbahce and Galatasaray for the title this season. The Black Eagles were very impressive in their first away game last week, and we feel they will follow up with an even better performance at home this weekend.
