Italy manager Cesare Prandelli has described his side's friendly draw with Haiti on Tuesday as an "embarrassment".
The Azzurri looked to be cruising towards a victory after Emanuele Giaccherini and Claudio Marchisio had given the Italians a 2-0 lead, but late goals from Olrish Saurel and Jean Phillipe Peguero earned a famous 2-2 draw for Haiti.
Afterwards, Prandelli admitted that he was left red-faced by the result and has demanded that the team improves.
"It is certainly a bad result, and an embarrassing one, because a draw with Haiti is an embarrassment," Prandelli told Rai Sport. "We arrived yesterday and made many changes. We should've been different in terms of spirit today.
"We have to take many aspects into consideration, most importantly we need to find our physical sharpness. We've worked towards this and you could see today we lost every single sprint, so we hope in five days the team can begin to deliver."
Haiti are 63rd in the FIFA World Rankings.
