Former Italy coach Marcello Lippi has ruled out a return to club management.
The 63-year-old, who guided the Italian national team to World Cup success in 2006, has instead targeted taking over a country in time for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
"I want another experience, to build a team, a new national team and play another World Cup in Brazil," he told reporters.
Lippi has previously managed Serie A clubs Napoli, Inter Milan and Juventus.
