Japan goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima has promised that his team will "attack" when they face Greece at the World Cup on Thursday.
Kawashima and his teammates are in need of the points after losing their opening match of the tournament against the Ivory Coast.
"For four years now we have focused on attack," he told FIFA.com. "We want to keep the ball and move it forward, using all of our qualities and technical ability to score goals. This is how we will play. We will attack."
Japan reached the second round of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa before losing on penalties to Paraguay.
