Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has branded Wednesday's Champions League clash with Sevilla "very important" in the context of Group H.
The Italian champions will begin their 2016-17 European challenge with a home game against Sevilla, who qualified for the group stages of the Champions League courtesy of their Europa League success last term.
The two sides are the favourites to progress from a group that also includes Lyon and Dinamo Zagreb, and Higuain has refused to play down the importance of this week's "major match" in Turin.
"It is important to continue our momentum into the next match," Higuain told Sky Italia. "We must remain calm and correct the mistakes we have been making in order to improve. We have a major match on Wednesday, a very important clash in the context of the group."
Higuain, 28, has scored three times in three appearances for Juventus this season after joining from Napoli in the summer transfer window.
