Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has laughed off criticism from AC Milan aimed at the referee who officiated their game last weekend.
After Juve's 3-1 victory over the Rossoneri, Milan chief Adriano Galliani questioned the 'selective replays' shown for Carlos Tevez's disputed offside decision on the big screen.
Buffon laughs at the argument created by the Milan officials over what appears to be the correct decision in the Italian's eyes.
"It was fantastic - they created controversy around a correct decision. The only mistake in that game was the corner that led to Milan's goal, which should not have been given. I see nobody cares about that," the 37-year-old said, according to Goal.com.
"It was certainly a bizarre controversy, the kind of thing only Italians can do. It helps you understand our nature, which is to stir up controversy and protest at everything.
"We even create controversy around what was not a refereeing error at all. It was the correct decision! In my view, this also gives even more strength to Juve's victories, because when we get to this point you realise it's all done for a reason."
Roma veteran Francesco Totti claimed earlier this season that Juventus benefitted from referee favouritism, claiming that 'it was the referee that lost us the game' after their 3-2 defeat in October.
