Hernanes "honoured" by Juventus move

Brazil international Hernanes says that he is delighted to have joined Juventus, following his deadline-day move from Inter Milan.

Brazilian midfielder Hernanes has expressed his delight at sealing a move to Italian champions Juventus.

The 30-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Bianconeri on Monday evening after completing his switch from Inter Milan for an initial fee of £8m.

"It's with pride and honour that I present my new shirt," Hernanes wrote on his official Instagram page.

"I have huge motivation to do my best in this new experience. I'm happy to have moved to another big club, and one of the most beautiful and important cities in Italy, Turin, as well as to join other great people and professionals and represent one of the biggest clubs in Italy and the world."

Hernanes has won 27 caps for Brazil and played for his country in last year's World Cup.
