Claudio Marchisio says that there is no risk of Juventus starlet Paul Pogba becoming big-headed.

Juventus vice-captain Claudio Marchisio has told midfield starlet Paul Pogba to keep his feet on the ground following a promising start for the Bianconeri.

The 19-year-old has scored two goals in six appearances since moving from Manchester United in an acrimonious summer switch, while his playing style has led to comparisons with French midfield great Patrick Vieira.

However, Marchisio has reminded the youngster that he has yet to achieve what the former AC Milan, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Manchester City man did during his career.

"It is a good sign when you are likened to such players," Marchisio told Tuttosport.

"It means that you are doing well, but the important thing is to not get big-headed. But he won't be running that risk as he has his head firmly fixed to his shoulders.

"Pogba has a physical resemblance to Vieira, he may actually be better technically, but he has yet to have the career of Vieira!"

Juve top Serie A by one point.
