Preview: Juventus vs. Hellas Verona

Sports Mole previews the Serie A contest between leaders Juventus and Hellas Verona.

Juventus will be hoping that they can make it two victories over Hellas Verona in three days when they clash in Serie A on Sunday.

The league leaders recorded an emphatic 6-1 triumph over their opponents in the Coppa Italia, despite manager Massimiliano Allegri making widespread changes to his side.

However, despite the one-sided nature of Thursday's match, Allegri is expected to revert back to the team that overcame Napoli last weekend as they reopened a three-point gap at the top of the standings.

One possible inclusion could see Fernando Llorente being replaced by Alvaro Morata after the younger of the two Spaniards netted his first goal in 10 games in midweek.

Like his opposite number, Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini is likely to name the side that featured in the league last week after the Gialloblu registered a 3-1 win over Parma.

Attacking responsibilities should fall on the shoulders of veteran duo Javier Saviola and Luca Toni, who will relish the opportunity to try to cause a surprise in Turin.

The visitors head into the game in 13th position, just six points above the relegation zone.
