AS Roma striker Marco Borriello has completed his loan move to fellow Serie A club Juventus.
The Old Lady were requested to pay £417,000 for his services on a temporary basis.
However, Juve retain the right to purchase the centre-forward on a permanent basis for £6.6m in the summer.
"Juventus are a great team and we have to go back to this way of thinking," Juve boss Antonio Conte told the club's official website. "This means competition and no-one can have a guaranteed place in the team.
"All must be available to fight for their place and that is what I ask of new arrivals."
Borriello joined the Romans in 2010 from AC Milan.
