Gianluigi Buffon keen to renew Juventus contract

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed his intention to renew his contract with the Italian champions.

The 34-year-old's current contract with the Bianconeri runs out in June next year, and he is keen to remain at the Turin giants.

"My future? Soon I will talk with the club and I doubt there'll be any problems," Buffon told Sky Sports News.

"I want to renew my contract, but the club are currently occupied with other matters.

"I think I won't play for any other Italian team, even if in football you can never say never."

Buffon has been with Juventus since 2001.
