Italian champions Juventus are the latest club to have been linked with a move for Federico Balzaretti.
The Old Lady's coaching staff are said to be keen on adding a left-sided defender to their squad as they prepare for the defence of their title.
Having scouted across Europe, they have decided upon the Palermo full-back who represented Italy at Euro 2012 earlier this summer, according to Goal.com.
The 30-year-old previously had a two-year stint with Juve up until 2007, where he made 57 appearances in the black and white shirt.
Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on signing the defender this summer.
