Juventus will reportedly make an improved offer for Matthijs de Ligt in the coming days as they bid to complete a deal for the Ajax defender.
After a hotly-contested race which has included Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, it appears that Juventus are on the brink of winning the race to sign the 19-year-old.
PSG are still said to have a lucrative contract offer on the table, although the Netherlands international seems intent on making the switch to Turin.
A report earlier this week said that Juventus had failed with an offer of £49.35m plus add-ons as Ajax continue to demand in the region of £67m.
However, Sky Sports News claims that the Serie A champions will make a bigger offer in a bid to close the deal as soon as possible.
Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether Juventus are ready to meet Ajax's valuation of their most prized asset.
