Cristiano Ronaldo's family are reportedly supportive of the Juventus forward's desire to move back to Sporting Lisbon next year.
The 36-year old's contract at the Old Lady ends at the end of next season and he is rumoured to want to return to his boyhood team when he leaves the club.
However, Ronaldo's time in Turin might be cut short as speculation mounts over his future at the Italian side following a frustrating season, with Juventus failing to win the Serie A title and being knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16.
Portuguese newspaper Record reports that Ronaldo 'wants to end his career at Sporting', and has the support from his family for the move.
Portugal's captain came through the youth ranks at Sporting Lisbon after joining the club at the age of 12, registering 31 appearances.
Ronaldo is currently the Serie A top goalscorer this season with 27 goals and has scored 99 goals in total since joining Juventus.
